Illegal Carrots
All the rabbits, squirrells, groundhogs, weasels,
skunks lived at the university (in a nice field) all connected by (vast)
underground tunnels. There were libraries, grocery stores, ....
On the
west side of the field lived a rabbit that grew plants to eat and trade with
other (animals). Rabbit A (that was the rabbits name), grew potatoes, lettuce,
radishes, corm, mmmm, squash, cabbage, (beets), beans (green beans, kidney
beans, peas), and (his own little cache) buried under all the other plants,
Rabbit A grew some carrots.
Now carrots, were not supposed to be grown,
in this field, carrots are (were) illegal.
"You are taking a real chance
rabbit A!" said weasel B. "If you get caught with those carrots, you go to (the
field) jail."
"I need (love) carrots and I want (must) grow carrots. (I
will use care)..."
"you will lose your entire farm, your house, think of
Rabbit F and the younger rabbits..."
"Carrots have vitamin C and a taste
made to please. I like carrots, and carrots bring in a good price from (animals,
species) in need.
What is so bad (wrong) with something you (life)
eat(s)!"
"Them carrots make (animals) mad! ... and sometimes sad!"...
"still carrots do some good, and fill a stomach you could never fill
with wood."
"Them carrots make (animals) everybody fat!"
"wuts
wrong wit that?"
"overweight bodies ..... ehh..."
----and so
rabbit A (and F?) is (are) arrested (more details), the farm is sold, the
younger rabbits must live (in foster care) with other animals

hog: (with lisp) "sshhyit"
Gopher/ground hog tells neighbors about trajedy: "oh it's terrible, terrible, terrible...Rabbit A was arrested for growing carrots. They (two vultures? forest police?) took him away earilier today."

animals overweight from eating too many carrots
younger rabbit humans get votes on the forest-network and argue for an end to illegal carrots
because of popular opinion.
